Exert effort that is second to none
Talent determines the starting point, effort determines the height. The so-called "second to none" is not about being more tired than others, but about being more focused and refined each day than the you of yesterday. Ordinary work, repeated until impeccable, is a remarkable practice. Work hard until you are moved by your own efforts, and opportunities will naturally come knocking.
Be humble, do not be proud
The greater your achievements, the more you should bow your head. Pride is the interest on ability; once you start enjoying it, the principal will be lost. Only by staying humble can you listen to different opinions, see your own shortcomings, and retain the talent around you. Keep others in your heart, leave credit behind you, and your path will grow wider and wider.
Reflect daily
At the end of the day, do not just tally your performance; tally yourself as well: Which words hurt someone today? Which decision was too hasty? Which thing could have been done better? Reflection is not self-denial, but a daily "system upgrade" for yourself. Only those who look in the mirror every day can improve daily and take solid steps.
Accumulate good deeds, think of altruism
Altruism is the highest form of self-interest. Think one step more for others, shoulder a little more for the team, and goodwill will, like a seed, take root and sprout in unseen places. Do not refrain from doing good because it is small, and do not calculate because of rewards. When you sincerely wish others well, the world often rewards you in unexpected ways.
